| Helen Beck was born in 1916.She
was one of six children born to Pvt. Alexander Hall and wife, Joanna Sager
Hall. Mr. Hall was a member of the Thomas J. Harrison Post #30 of the G.A.R.
He served in the Indiana 16th Light Artillery Co. K. Mrs. Hall was in the
Woman's Relief Corps and also served as quartermaster for the G.A.R. Helen
Beck is a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War
1861-1865, Marinda B. Dye, Tent #17, Kokomo, Indiana. Her sister,
Opal Crume, was also a member of Marinda B. Dye Tent #17 until her death in
1997.
Sister Helen Beck died February 23, 2008. |
